Pets and people return to Stratham Hill Park for NHSPCA fundraiser

Stratham Hill Park was full of pets and their inhabitants for the New Hampshire SPCA Paws Walk. It is one of the organization’s essential fundraisers and brings together local pet owners and New England vendors. The day started with a one kilometer walk and offered an agility lesson and a herding demonstration. Organizers said it felt good to return to the park. It’s so much fun. Even our horses are here today,” said NHSPCA Chief Executive Lisa Dennison. The event was also an opportunity for the Granite Staters to adopt a new friend. Prospective pet owners got to see adoptable dogs up close during the “dogs on the catwalk” portion of the day.
