Pawmetto Lifeline hosts the “Dog Days of Summer” adoption event

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Pawmetto Lifeline has announced that it will be hosting a special dog adoption event.

The “Dog Days of Summer” will take place on August 5, 6 and 7.

During the event, dogs 35 pounds and over can be adopted for $ 50. Adopters are also encouraged to inquire about other current promotions.

All adoption fees include an examination by an SC licensed veterinarian, sterilization / sterilization surgery, deworming, microchip with free registration, and age-appropriate vaccinations.

Event officials say all dogs have started their monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

“Pawmetto Lifeline is a managed reception center that gives every homeless animal in our facility and foster care program the medical care they need, and we keep them safe until. may they find their family forever. We do not want to refuse any animal. Our goal this weekend is to adopt 50 large breed dogs as they are much more difficult to place than small breed dogs, ”said Denise Wilkinson, CEO of Pawmetto Lifeline. “We need the public to help us by adopting this weekend. Adopt one, save two is our motto. By adopting one, you are creating space for another homeless dog. Becoming a community without killing is truly a partnership with the citizens of South Carolina and relief organizations, all working together to ensure that no homeless animals die just because they are homeless.

Meetings with dogs in foster homes are possible by appointment.
