Relax with Daenerys, # A503698

Daenerys will brighten your day with her big smile and wagging tail. At 9 years old, Daenerys has a calm and relaxed vibe, but is also very active when she goes into play mode. Daenerys is extremely affectionate and loves to rub her back, and will even lean on you for more affection. This smart girl walks very well on a loose leash and knows the sit, down and paw commands. If you’re looking for a dog that can curl up on the couch with you after a brisk morning walk, Daenerys might be your perfect companion.

All are welcome, by the way, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 16, for “Free Adoption Day” at Pasadena Humane presented by Gabrielle Bruveris. Adoption fees will be waived for all dogs, cats and critters available at this walk-in event. All dog adoptions include spaying or neutering, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccines.

New adopters will receive a free health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag full of information on how to care for your pet.

View photos of adoptable pets and schedule an adoption appointment on the website. Adoptions are by appointment only and new adoption appointments are available at 10 a.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone or email. pasadenahumane.org

Sweet Clarence, # A446021, is everyone’s friend

Four-year-old Clarence is a total sweetheart. This friendly and affectionate cat immediately approaches new people to ask for a pet. Clarence once lived with another cat and a dog and got along well with both. This sweet boy would do best in a home where he can get lots of attention and love.

Forrest and Violet, siblings who want to stay together

Forrest and Violet round out Vivian and Henry’s sibling set (featured last week). Violet is a tuxedo with a pretty face. She loves to climb cat trees. Her favorite toy is a feather wand.

Forrest is a big hug. He meows when he wants his head and face to be petted (and you better get it “meow” or he’ll circle around your feet until you give him his pet). Your reward for such attention would be loud purrs. He has dark “tear marks” on either side of his nose, like a cheetah cub.

Both cats are raised with two foster dogs. They are only 3 months old and will be delivered to their “furry” home already neutered/neutered, checked and chipped.

Submit an application on the site. Can’t adopt yet? Please share their story with anyone who can. Find more adorable photos of Violet and Forrest on the website’s “Very Young Cats” page. 626-676-9505. Email: [email protected] lifelineforpets.org
