Big Ten football programs ranked by conference winning percentage

The Big Ten is one of the most historic and followed college football conferences in the history of the sport. There are legends and stories that run deep through the heart of the country. From the early days of leather helmets to the finely tuned athletes of today, the Big Ten are unrivaled when it comes to generating revenue and having their eyes on their games.

But the conference has had cyclical moments in its past. There have been periods of dominance by various teams throughout history and this is likely to hold true in the future as well. Sure, Ohio State and Michigan were top dogs from start to finish, but even the Wolverines hit a pretty deep valley for a while. OSU has also not been immune to a few years of decline.

But if you take all the games in the conference, which teams are leading in terms of wins and winning percentage? Yeah, can probably guess the Buckeyes and Wolverines are on top, but who’s #1? Where do things line up from there?

Here’s a look at the Big Ten records of all current teams in the conference ranked by winning percentage throughout conference games only. We’re counting down from #14 to #1 with total wins also noted.
