Animals of the week: Hal is gentle. Hallie loves to cuddle.

JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are two.

Hallie is a 4 year old American Staffordshire mix bitch who is predominantly white with unique black markings. Hallie is a happy, active girl who enjoys the outdoors and works on learning commands and walking on a leash. Someone taught her to jump on your chest for a hug, which she loves to do.

Hal is a 7 year old Blue Point Siamese cat. He’s a sweet, handsome guy with light blue eyes who has been abandoned by his owner. He gets along well with other cats.

A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A visit to the cat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.
